Check Out the Cute Town of Paonia Colorado

Spring is around the corner, and I'm ready for a getaway. I have visited the cute town of Paonia many times since I lived in Montrose. Each time I discover something new.

Paonia may be a small town, but you will have plenty to do. You can take a stroll in the cute downtown. There are a few restaurants to choose from, along with shopping. Even a cute specialty-type gift shop.

You can take a walk or hang out at Paonia town park. There are a few wineries as well. Right before you get to Paonia it's more like Hotchkiss, I love to visit Big B's delicious Orchards cafe and tasting room. Great food, produce, and just plain fun. It's more of a spring or summer visit, as they are open from April thru October.

If you are looking for a day trip and you live on the western slope, put Paonia on your list of things to do.
