While I appreciate the design and beauty of a well-built home, I'd be lying if I said I was willing to let a great aesthetic stand in the way of actually living in a house. By that, of course, I mean that I'm lazy and I don't care to pick up after myself. Clearly, I'm setting a great example for my child...

That being said, living in houses as I do makes me wary of any home that looks too nice, lest I ruin a perfectly good layout. As you might imagine, the house in the gallery below, currently for sale in Telluride, is the kind of house I'd give a wide berth to. In this instance, that's an overwhelming compliment.

This house is pre-Civil War, and quite frankly, it looks like a museum. A lot of that feeling could be the way the home is currently laid out, and one can always rearrange furniture, but looking through the gallery...I really don't want to. I don't really know how to describe it, other than to say that everything in the house looks like it has to be there, and moving anything would somehow be sacrilegious.

Keep an eye on the listing at Realtor.com, as there will be exterior pictures coming soon. I can only imagine what this house looks like on the outside, considering that it's basically perfect on the inside. Too perfect, I'd say, to even live in. Maybe we should start a petition and get this place declared a landmark. Does anybody know if a President once walked by, or something?
