The Most Expensive House for Sale in Delta CO is a Log Cabin

You may recall that I have previously highlighted a log cabin-esque house for sale, right here in Montrose. When I put that house on a pedestal, I thought that it was the most unique house that I'd ever seen. There was no way that it wouldn't be years before I saw something so unique, I thought. Then, I checked the listings this morning...

As it turns out, the Lincoln Log look is actually quite popular on the Western Slope, and I know this because just such a house is currently listed as the most expensive home for sale right now, in Delta. It may not be quite as bright as the one in Montrose that I mentioned previously, but this house is no less charming.

It's not small either, boasting 3 bedrooms and 2-and-a-half bathrooms. The living area is gigantic, and I must admit that the main staircase is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Plus, that wood-burning stove makes me want to hang out with my wife, cozying up next to each other with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa.

The property is actually a farm and ranch, so it could be a business investment, as well. You're looking at 57 acres here, and I'm no rancher, so you'll have to find out for yourself what level of experience would best benefit in that regard, but man: this house is something. Just another reason Delta is a great place to live.
