Unfortunately, it was just announced on July 2, 2025, that Colorado will be losing one of its last remaining locations before the end of the month.

One of Colorado's Last Hooters Restaurants Will Close this July

While at one time, there were Hooters restaurants all across the state of Colorado, including one on North Avenue in Grand Junction, there are currently only four that are operating in the Centennial State. Those restaurants are located in Loveland, Aurora, Westminster, and Lone Tree.

However, an official press release that came out on July 2, 2025, announced that July 13, 2025, will be the last day that the location at 8334 Willow Street in Lone Tree will be open.

According to the press release, the location, which has operated in Lone Tree since 2015, will be forced to close due to things like rising costs, inflation, and steep competition in the area from similar brands.

The press release also states that a recent bankruptcy filing was not a factor in the restaurant's decision to close and that Hooters is moving to a franchise-only model.
