Trendy New Colorado Book Club Combines Literature + Beer
When one hears the term book club, there's a good chance that images of groups of middle-aged or older women sitting around discussing romance novels around a dining room table come to mind. These types of book clubs usually also involve refreshments such as coffee, tea, or maybe wine.
However, because Colorado is the state that it is, a new book club has been established not just for readers, but for authors as well and will take place at a trendy bar where there's no doubt that plenty of drinks will be flowing.
New + Trendy Colorado Book Club Established
The idea was the brainchild of a former events coordinator for the iconic Tattered Cover bookstore by the name of Adam Vitcavage along with Denver's Sarah Ann Noel.
The club goes by the name of Reading Den and will take place once a month at a unique and trendy bar known as Fort Greene, located at 321 E. 45th Avenue in Denver.
In case you're not familiar, Fort Greene is already established as a hip, modern meeting place for creative types with an affinity for beer and cocktails, making it a perfect setting for the new book club.
The monthly series are free of charge and will likely attract literary enthusiasts from all walks of life including authors and others that just like to read.
The very first meeting of the Reading Den will take place on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, at 7 p.m., officially joining the already packed roster of other fun activities that take place at Fort Greene which include tarot readings, vinyl spinning, and plenty of other types of entertainment.
Check out more details at Fort Greene's official Facebook page.
