What is Colorado's Pearl Lake State Park?

Pearl Lake State Park is located right at the base of Hahn's Peak and was named for the wife of pioneer John Kelly Hartt, M. Pearl Hartt.

The destination was established as a State Park in 1964 and is a popular place to go camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, paddleboarding, and even cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing in the winter.

The lake is surrounded by pine trees, Aspen trees, and many other different types of vegetation including Colorado's state plant, the Columbine. However, as you'll see below, you'll run into many more wildflowers of all different colors while taking a stroll on any of the hiking trails.
