Western Colorado Could Deep Snow in the Mountains
Even though winter hasn't officially started, no one told Colorado. Some of Colorado's mountains have already been blasted with snow, and more is coming.
Heck, a couple of ski resorts have already started spinning their lifts.

Over the weekend (Nov. 1 through 3) the central mountain areas received enough snow to shut down I-70. From the Eisenhower Tunnels through Vail, semi trucks and cars we're spinning out making travel treacherous to travelers.
Another Snowstorm is Heading for Colorado
The chilly weather isn't the only thing reminiscent of winter. With the chilly weather comes the potential for more snow.
The National Weather Service says there's another front sweeping through Arizona and New Mexico starting Tuesday, November 5. This front has the potential to bring snow down to 6,000 and 7,000 feet. This could affect roadways at those levels so that travel could become slick.
Moving through Sunday, November 10, southwest Colorado and the central mountains have the chance to see some decent snowshowers.
How Much Snow Could Colorado See this Week?
Depending on your location, you can see upwards of 16 inches.
Here's what western Colorado towns could expect for snow totals:
- Pagosa Springs: 4 to 11 inches
- Delta: 0 to 3 inches
- Montrose: 4 to 6 inches
- Paonia: <1 to 5 inches
- Glenwood Springs: <1 to 4 inches
- Moab: 0 to <1 inch
- Gunnison: 1 to 6 inches
- Crested Butte: 4 to 8 inches
- Durango: 2 to 8 inches
- Grand Junction: 0 to 1 inch
- Ouray: 8 to 13 inches
- Aspen: 3 to 8 inches
- Silverton: 10 to 16 inches
- Telluride: 10 to 15 inches
- Steamboat Springs: 2 to 5 inches
Remember, if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and it'll change.
