Zip Line Over The Colorado River In Grand Junction
Grand Junction waited very patiently over the years for the River Park at Las Colonias to come together. From the opening of the Amp in 2017 to the completion of the Butterfly Pond in 2020, to the Dos Rios Splash Pad in 2024, the riverfront has become more enjoyable with each passing year.
Did you know Grand Junction's riverfront also has a zip line? Let's take a closer look at Riverfront Zip Adventures so you can make plans to try it this summer.
Riverfront Zip Lines at Las Colonias
Riverfront Zip Adventures connects Eagle Rim Park in Orchard Mesa with Las Colonias via a 1,180-foot zipline. Once you reach the lower platform, riders rappel 30 feet to the ground via an automatic rappel device. RZA makes the zip line available 3 days a week. On Friday, they are open from 12 PM to 6 PM, Saturday, 11 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. Reservations can be made online if you want to ride at a specific time.

Eagle Rim Park To Butterfly Pond
The zip line begins at Eagle Rim Park and travels to the landing next to the Butterfly Pond at Las Colonias. There are two lines allowing friends to race over the river and down to the landing. Riverfront Zip Adventures charges $18 for riders age 17 and younger. Adults pay $21.
