Grand Junction knows that the summer heat in the Grand Valley can often bring triple-digit temperatures to Mesa County for most of July and August. In 2025, our first 99-degree day came on June 15th.

Grand Junction's Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool

The Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool is located at 1340 Gunnison Ave in Grand Junction. The outdoor pool measures 50 meters and features a waterslide, diving boards, a splashpad, and a water playground. It's the perfect summer hideout with a large grassy area, concessions, shelters, and pool furniture.

  • Sunday: 1:30 – 7:30 pm (public swim & water slide, splash pad open)
  • Monday–Friday: 7–9 am (lap swim); 10 am–7:30 pm (lessons/lap swim & public swim, midday pool closures on Wednesdays).
  • Saturday: Free youth admission days
  • Saturday: 1:30 – 7:30 pm public swim & splash pad

The Orchard Mesa Community Pool

The Orchard Mesa Pool is located at 2736 Unaweep Avenue near the campus of the Orchard Mesa Middle School. The indoor pool is a z-shape measuring 25 meters by 25 yards. The facility offers an indoor water slide and a hot tub. Recently, the pool was closed to the public during the spring of 2025 for a boiler replacement. They expect to be open for summer.

  • Weekdays: 6:30–11:30 am (lap & fitness), 11:30 am–1:30 pm & 3:30–7:30 pm public swim
  • Weekends: 1:30–7:30 pm public swim + water slide (Fri–Sun)

🏊‍♂️ How Much Does It Cost to Swim?

Both pools feature special deals found at GJParksandRec.org. The Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool's free youth days are perfect for families. The Orchard Mesa Pool features half-price Sundays ($3.25 per person). Most admission prices are the same at both the Lincoln Park–Moyer and Orchard Mesa pools.
