It's an idea that could make a Coloradoan more than a few dollars: Putting the logos of old businesses in Fort Collins onto t-shirts. What a great way to show your love of The Choice City with some "choice" shirts.

Serendipity Leads to Great Fort Collins T-Shirts Find

It was in late March of 2026, when I was at my local watering hole in Loveland, that I found out from my bartender that there was a local screen printing and embroidery businesses that was getting ready to do a bunch of "old" Fort Collins shirts.

That bartender already had one that featured the legendary Fort Ram bar that was in Fort Collins during the late 80s and early 90s. I'd been to The Ram many times; to have one of those shirts of my own, was very enticing. I thought others would be interested as well.

I reached out to the man doing the project through his Sweet Drizzle Designs inquiring about the shirts. In his emailed reply, he talked of how it came about:

...they are kind of a pet project of mine remembering places from my youth and places that I frequented or worked at in my younger days. Back when Fort Collins was fun.

What Kind of Fort Collins Businesses Will be on the T-Shirts?

Some of the shirts that Sweet Drizzle has, at $18, include:

  • Aladdin's Castle - An arcade in the old Foothills Fashion Mall.
  • Electric Stampede - It was in the Old Town area in the 80s.
  • Prime Minister - A somewhat "fancy" restaurant that was where Olive Garden is now.
  • W. C. Frank - A great place for hot dogs, sandwiches, video games - they were at West Elizabeth and Taft Hill. They had great French Fries, as I recall.
  • The Finest  - A great vinyl shop that was at Campus West, near Jim's Wings.

Shirts became available for purchase in mid-April of 2026 through Shopify HERE.
