New ‘Caroling in the Square’ Event Planned For Fort Collins

With all the Christmas/Holidays events you see across Colorado every year, it's good to see more events that are about bringing the community together. A caroling event is planned for Downtown Fort Collins in December for us to sing and embrace the season of giving.

Who's Planning the 'Caroling in the Square' Event in Fort Collins?

The team at All Star Cleaning Services in Fort Collins has come up with a wonderful idea for the Northern Colorado area: a gathering of local leaders, community VIPs, and possibly local school choirs leading the crowd in holiday carols in Old Town Square. Better still, the event is planned to take place on the same day as the annual Secret Santa Toy Store on December 19, 2026, put on by NoCo Secret Samaritan, which All Star Cleaning Services is closely affiliated with.

The planners of the event hope that this initial caroling event in Old Town will grow to be as big as the "Caroling in Jackson Square" that has been happening in New Orleans since 1946. I'd never heard of that event until All Star Cleaning Services told us about it; it sounds like something the Fort Collins area would really want to be a part of, and become bigger than the New Orleans event.

What Will 'Caroling in the Square' Include If It Happens in Old Town Square?

• Songbooks provided.
• Electric candles.
• Local Leaders taking turns in leading the holiday songs.
• Families, friends, neighbors, and visitors gathering to sing together and celebrate the season.

If all goes as planned, this will be a great Saturday: Free toys for kids in the morning, hundreds singing songs of the season that afternoon.
