2 of Colorado’s Great Breweries Make List of ’12 to Travel For’
While the craft brewery "craze" has ebbed a bit since its hey day, two Colorado breweries are getting accolades.
2 Colorado Breweries Noted as Worth Traveling For
A great craft brewery can be more than its beers; it can also include that brewery being a "venue" worthy of visiting. I know that when I sit down at one of Colorado's many, many craft brewers, I want it to be an 'experience."
Craft Breweries aren't like your average "bar;" you're not going to be hanging out for an extended of time. So, when you do venture out, you want it to be worth your time as well as your money. That's what the folks at InsideHook.com had in mind with their list of 12 in the U.S. that are "Worth Traveling For."
These breweries not only have exceptional regional beer but have exceptional surroundings, too, as according to their reviewer. That must be a brutal job, traveling all over America, seeing the sights, dining out, enjoying craft beer, Maybe I'm just jaded; I'm sure it's not everything it's cracked up to be.

They have a newer taproom along Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs and a Barrel Room that used to be open to the public along the Roaring Fork River.
From InsideHook.com:
[Casey Brewing & Blending]..specializes in small-batch, mixed-culture beers, especially sours made with fruit from Colorado’s sun-soaked Western Slope. Every pour is seasonal, local (99% Colorado ingredients) and masterfully crafted, be it a farmhouse ale or hazy IPA.
A legend in Colorado, Oskar Blues was the first craft brewery in the nation to can its beer, Dale's Pale Ale. All these years later, that taproom in Longmont is something to behold. If you live in Northern Colorado you've probably been there once or twice, I know I have.
From InsideHook.com:
The Longmont location has the feel of a Western roadhouse, with live music, pub grub and a beer list that leans hard into bold flavors.
