When Will Colorado Run Out of License Plate Numbers?
Colorado currently has 5 million active license plates meaning there are 12.5 million possible combinations to use.
At that rate, Colorado would run out of new license plate numbers around the year 2150. This is considering that Colorado has a three-letter, then three-number license plate number combination. So will Colorado run out? I would say within our lifetime, no.
By the year 2150, who knows what the future of transportation will look like?
