I have always considered Denver to be a fun city. In my defense, I am a little biased as it is the city that I grew up in. When we lived away from Colorado for a handful of years, we would always come home for vacations to see friends and family, and there was never a shortage of fun things to do, no matter what time of year we'd come home to visit.

Denver: A Destination for Visitors

Denver has always been a place where people from far and wide would come to visit. Some may stick within the metro area, others would make Denver the home base and travel to Rocky Mountain National Park, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs for a day trip.

Wallet Hub recently released a new list of the most fun cities in the United States, and, as you might guess, Denver was on it. However, the Mile High City didn't rank in the top 10.

That's okay with us; we still know there are plenty of fun things to do, like going to a concert at Red Rocks, tasting a unique beer at a craft brewery, or venturing into the mountains. There is always something to do in Denver.

How Denver Ranked

Denver ranked 12th on the list, just under Chicago. The top five most fun cities include Atlanta, Georgia, Miami, Florida, Orlando, Florida, and the most fun city, Las Vegas, Nevada.
