As someone who grew up celebrating Christmas, seeing snowfall on the actual day of could make or break the holiday.
I lived in a very secluded, rural town in Pennsylvania so if we got too much snow, we'd be stuck for a day or two. We had family that would drive an hour to celebrate with us and there were a few years where the roads were to dangerous for anyone to come out.
If there was NO snow at all, then my sister and I would feel like we were missing out on some Christmas magic.

Early Forecast: What Christmas 2025 Weather Could Look Like In Colorado
Whether you're rooting for a white Christmas or not, we do have some early predictions of what December 25th, 2025 might look like.
According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, there is some snow in the forecast for Northeast, Upper Midwest, Lower Lakes, the eastern Ohio Valley, and Alaska during the week of Christmas.
Regional Outlook: Snow, Rain, and Storms Across the U.S.
As we move westward, there is more chances of storms and rain. This is mainly in the Pacific Northwest.
If you plan on traveling either way during the week of Christmas, just keep in mind that you could be met with either scattered snow flurries to the East and some rainy storms to the West.

The Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting that it'll be a warmer Christmas here in the Centennial State.
On the Eastern side of the state will see a mix of some snow and rain while the Western side will be a bit colder, but still have a mixed bag of wet snow.
