Exploring The Little Switzerland of Ouray Colorado
There are many great small towns across Colorado. The one with enchanting beauty would be Ouray.
Situated in the heart of the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado. Ouray is known as the "Switzerland of America." Its rich history dates back to 1876 when the city was incorporated on October 2. named after Chief Ouray of the Utes, a Native American Tribe.
The beauty is endless. With numerous hikes, to the hot springs, and let's not forget the decadent restaurants. From Ouray Brewery, Brickhouse 377, Thai Chili, and the Outlaw, just to name a few, and not to forget Mouses Chocolates for dessert.
For my anniversary this year, I visited Wiesbaden with its mineral pools and the famous vapor caves.
My big dream is to visit real Switzerland one day, so I'm glad I live near this awesome town. One day I will miss the town of Ouray, but today I will bask in all the beauty of this small town.
